Arguably one of the best apartments in Italy for any length of stay. 50 meters from the City Gates of Verona. The apartment is on the 4th floor, with a lift, fully provisioned and comfortably sleeps 4. Free Internet connection is a bonus, as is the balcony, with a grand view, for meals and or drinks after a days sight seeing.

The Romeo apartment is a comfortable retreat, a great accommodation on the top floor of a building, just a few steps from the Arena square. The terrace faces Corso Porta Nuova, from here you have wonderful views of Piazza Bra, and its clock tower just a few metres away. The apartment has many comforts, air conditioning, and a fully furnished kitchen with oven, dishwasher, washing machine, gas stove, fridge and freezer. The bathroom is decorated with mosaics - a very romantic touch. Enjoy a long soak in the enormous round bathtub, or if you prefer, take a refreshing shower. The apartment is very private, even from the terrace, where you can enjoy the city below without been seen. Private parking is available in the courtyard if you are travelling by car. In addition, all the tourist attractions and historical sites are within a few minutes walk, and 50 meters away there is a well stocked supermarket.

February 22/26 2011 apartment Romeo No praise too high. Ideal location; light, airy and spacious accommodation. Invaluable secure private parking. An excellent small supermarket just 100mtrs distant. The apartment has been tastefully decorated and furnished; and is equipped with everything you might need for a short holiday. For an evening in, the large wall mounted tv provides your own cinema experience. Four days was not Nearly enough time to explore this remarkable City and it's environs but it has given us a taste and we shall return. As you will have read in previous comments Marco is extremely helpful and informative; and do follow his restaurant recommendation for Giuletta & Romeo - but avoid the horse dishes!
